On the Ultimate9 EVC, try Ultimate mode U3–U5 for daily driving; it sharpens response without turning the pedal into a hair trigger. In the wet, on gravel, or when towing, drop to Economy E2–E4 to smooth take-off and curb surge. For set-and-forget commuting, Auto Control (AC) adapts on the fly and usually behaves better than cranking U7–U9.

Off-road or in low-range, milder settings (U1–U3 or E3) help avoid lurchy throttle; high settings can make autos hunt gears. And remember, a controller doesn’t add power—it just changes pedal sensitivity, so pick what feels natural and doesn’t annoy your gearbox.
