Ah, EVie charging – the lifeblood of your electric chariot. In Australia, EVie Networks offers a rapidly expanding network of fast chargers, mostly 50kW DC units, that can juice up your electric vehicle in about 30-60 minutes. You’ll also find slower AC chargers at 7kW to 22kW, perfect for overnight top-ups at home or work.

Prices vary wildly depending on location and provider, but expect to pay around $0.40 to $0.60 per kWh – cheaper than petrol but still a reminder that electricity isn’t free. For home charging, installation costs can range from $800 to $2,500, depending on your setup.

For the latest station locations and pricing, check out EVie Networks, Tradingpost for used EV chargers, or ServiceCentral for installation services. Remember, your EV’s range anxiety only lasts as long as your charger’s uptime.
