evs available in australia 2023 Page 3

Short answer: loads—2023 was the year Australia finally stopped treating EVs like drop bears.

At the affordable end you had MG ZS EV and BYD Atto 3, plus the ever-present Tesla Model 3/Y; mainstream options included Hyundai Kona Electric, Ioniq 5/6, Kia EV6 and Nissan Leaf; premium picks ran to Polestar 2, Volvo XC40/C40 Recharge, BMW i4/iX1 and more.

Prices ran roughly from mid-$40k to well over $150k depending on badge and battery.

Typical claimed range hovered around 300–500 km, with DC fast charging from about 50 kW up to 350 kW on the fancy stuff. If you want specifics on a model, check local specs and availability—they moved faster than a Tesla on a green light.
