ex30 test drive Page 249

Booking an EX30 test drive? It’s Volvo’s pint-sized electric SUV—quiet, nippy, and very pleased with its big-screen party trick.

• Try the different regen/one‑pedal modes and see if the braking feel suits your commute.
• Do a loop with coarse‑chip bitumen at 80–100 km/h to check road noise and ride on bumpy stuff.
• Test driver‑assist (lane keep, adaptive cruise) and make sure the steering feel isn’t too video‑gamey for you.

Bring a phone cable, poke around charging menus, and make sure the usable space fits your life (stroller, surfboard, labrador—ideally not at once). Dealers can book you in and, yes, they’ll happily show you how to charge without tripping the switchboard.
