fiat 500 review australia Page 3

The Fiat 500 in Australia is a quirky, stylish city car that turns heads but isn’t for everyone. Its 1.4-litre petrol engine delivers a modest 74 kW, making it peppy enough for urban jaunts but not exactly a motorway missile. Inside, the retro charm is undeniable, though space is tight and practicality takes a back seat. New models hover around $20,000 to $25,000 AUD, while used ones can be found for less on Tradingpost or CarShowroom. Common gripes include a firm ride, limited rear space, and occasional electrical niggles.

• Firm suspension may unsettle some.
• Rear seat and boot space are minimal.
• Electronics can be temperamental.
