ford enduro

The Ford Enduro isn't a specific model you can just stroll into a dealership and buy; it's more of an event or race, typically associated with endurance racing involving Ford vehicles. In Australia, "Enduro" usually refers to the gruelling endurance races like the Bathurst 1000, where Ford Falcons have historically battled it out with Holdens. If you were after a Ford vehicle suited for endurance racing or rugged performance, models like the Ford Falcon XR8 or the more recent Ford Mustang GT might tickle your fancy.

These beasts boast powerful V8 engines with outputs north of 300 kW, robust chassis, and performance-tuned suspensions. Pricing for used Falcons or Mustangs can range widely, from about $15,000 AUD for older Falcons to over $60,000 AUD for newer Mustangs. For actual race-prepped Enduro cars, prices skyrocket into the six figures, but these are rarely for mere mortals.
