ford everest towing capacity 2021 Page 2

Thinking of hitching the big toys to a 2021 Ford Everest? Sensible choice with just enough swagger to annoy the neighbour’s jet ski.

The official braked towing capacity is 3,000 kg, with an unbraked limit of 750 kg, and a typical towball download of 300 kg when correctly equipped.

That figure covers both the 3.2 five-cylinder and 2.0 Bi‑Turbo diesels, but payload, accessories and GCM arithmetic can trim your real-world limit faster than a headwind.

Get the factory tow pack and an electric brake controller, and keep a hawk eye on weights.

Consult official documentation for exact figures.
