ford mondeo diesel problems

Ah, the Ford Mondeo diesel—an endearing choice for those who enjoy a bit of mechanical roulette. Common issues include:

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging, especially if mostly city driving.
• EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve failures causing rough idling and reduced performance.
• Injector problems leading to poor fuel economy and smoke.
• Turbocharger wear resulting in loss of power and odd noises.
• Electrical gremlins affecting sensors and warning lights.

Regular servicing and proper driving habits can keep these at bay. Check listings on Tradingpost or CarShowroom to see how these factors impact prices for used models.
