genesis g70 vs kia stinger Page 5

Comparing the Genesis G70 and the Kia Stinger is like choosing between a sleek European import and a muscle car in a tailored suit. The G70 flaunts a sharper, more luxurious interior with 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 or a 3.3L twin-turbo V6, boasting up to 272 kW. Meanwhile, the Stinger offers a bit more space and a similar engine lineup, but with a slightly softer ride and more practical hatchback boot.

Pros of Genesis G70:

• Upscale interior and materials
• Sportier handling and sharper steering
• More premium brand appeal

Pros of Kia Stinger:

• Roomier cabin and larger cargo space
• More value for money with extra features
• Practical hatchback design

Both start around AUD 60,000 new, with used examples generously available on Tradingpost and CarShowroom for less. Choose based on whether you want luxury sharpness or practical muscle car charm. For the nitty-gritty, consult official specs and test drive both.
