Short version: the 2023 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland didn’t happen; it was cancelled again.
Instead, the organisers took the Geneva International Motor Show brand on tour to Doha as “GIMS Qatar 2023” in October 2023. It delivered glitzy premieres, concept cars, and plenty of jaw-stretching light shows—just not on the shores of Lake Geneva. If you were hoping for Swiss chocolate with your sheet‑pulls, you got desert sunsets and air‑con.
So yes, “Geneva” 2023 existed in spirit, but the passports got a workout. Expect the usual carousel of debuts and marketing fluff, just under Qatari skies.
