glass cleaning hacks Page 38

Want glass so clean you’ll try to tap it like a confused budgie? Start in the shade, use two microfibre towels—one to clean, one to buff—and a mix of distilled water + isopropyl alcohol (about 70%) with a tiny drop of dish soap.

Spray the towel, not the glass, and work top‑to‑bottom; do the inside with horizontal strokes and the outside with vertical so any streaks betray which side you botched.

Stubborn haze or road film? Clay‑bar the glass lightly, then buff dry until it squeaks like a gym shoe on parquet.

Avoid ammonia cleaners on anything tinted, and keep paper towels for picnics—they shed lint like a nervous cat.

Finish with a clean dry towel and you’ll have windows so clear the wipers will feel unemployed.
