gran turismo movie reviews

Gran Turismo (2023) drew mixed reviews: critics praised the visceral racing sequences and David Harbour’s wonderfully gruff mentor, while sighing at the brand polishing.

As a based-on-a-true-story sports tale it hits the usual beats—underdog, montage, fist-pump—slickly enough to keep the popcorn rustling.

When the camera’s strapped to a car, it’s thrilling; when the dialogue sounds like a pitch deck, less so.

If you fancy high-octane wish-fulfilment with proper engine noise, it’s a fun run; if you want nuance, maybe take public transport.
