head speed pro 2022 review Page 2

The Head Speed Pro 2022 brings the updated Auxetic layup, giving a crisper, more connected feel while keeping its trademark composure on big swings. It’s a control-first frame with a denser string pattern and a lower launch angle, rewarding full cuts and clean timing rather than lazy flicks.

Stability at net is rock solid and returns stay planted, but free power is modest—string it smart if you want extra pop. The sweet spot isn’t massive and off-centre hits can feel firm, yet comfort remains respectable for its class. If you liked earlier Speeds but wanted sharper feedback without the harshness, this is the grown-up version; developing players may prefer the more forgiving MP.
