holden airbag recall Page 49

Yes, the Holden airbag recall is real, and it’s not the kind you ignore like a service reminder at 5 p.m. on a Friday.

Many models were caught up in the Takata saga—faulty inflators can rupture and send shrapnel, which is about as fun as stepping on a plug.

Check your VIN on the federal Product Safety Australia site and with Holden/GM support; replacements are free and widely available.

If your car is tagged “critical,” do not drive it; dealers can arrange towing or mobile repair and swap the inflator/module in roughly an hour.

Even cars that had a previous fix sometimes needed a second replacement, so confirm your status and book it promptly.

Your wallet stays shut, your face stays intact—fair trade, really.
