honda 75th anniversary Page 21

Honda’s 75th anniversary lands in 2023, marking 75 years since the company’s 1948 founding.

Across those decades it delivered CVCC clean-burn tech, VTEC wizardry, icons like the Civic, Accord, NSX and the riotous Type R brigade. Expect celebratory marketing and heritage nods rather than wholesale model overhauls—think special trims or events depending on market. In Australia, availability of any commemorative bits can vary by dealer, so ring ahead before you warm up the credit card. Either way, it’s a neat reminder that Honda built its reputation on clever engineering first, fireworks second.
