honda crv check tyre pressure Page 4

Checking a Honda CR‑V’s tyre pressures is gloriously unglamorous, but it stops that vague, wallowy cornering that frightens the groceries. Pop the driver’s door and read the tyre placard; set pressures to those numbers with the tyres cold (first thing in the morning is best). Use a decent gauge at a servo, top up or bleed air, then recheck all four and the spare if it’s full-size. If the TPMS light’s on, drive a few minutes after correcting pressures; some models also need a TPMS reset/initialise via the vehicle menu—see the owner’s manual. Don’t chase random internet PSI guesses; the placard is king and varies with tyre size and load.
