how long after sealing driveway can i drive on it Page 7

Short version: give it time, your tyres aren’t special.

For most driveway sealers in Australia, plan on 24 hours for foot traffic and 48–72 hours before parking cars; cool, humid or shady conditions push it toward the longer end.

Fresh asphalt/bitumen seal coats often need at least 48 hours, while thicker acrylic or epoxy-style coatings can want 72 hours or more.

Heavy vehicles, tight steering turns, or a scorching summer arvo? Wait 3–7 days, then enjoy those squeaky-clean tyre marks later.

Always follow the product label or your contractor’s advice—curing beats redoing.
