how long are you on green ps qld Page 3

Ah, the eternal question for Queensland's learner drivers: how long do you have to suffer the green P plate before you graduate to the mighty red? In Queensland, you must hold your green P plates for at least 12 months if you're under 25 years old. This probation period is designed to ensure you've got the chops to handle the roads without turning every trip into a potential Darwin Award moment.

After this period, assuming no major infringements, you can upgrade to the red P plates and eventually shed the probationary status altogether. Remember, these green plates are not just for show—they come with restrictions and fines if you mess up.
