how long are you on red ps qld Page 7

In Queensland, the infamous "red P" (provisional licence) period lasts for 12 months after you first get your provisional licence. This means you're stuck in the slow lane of motoring maturity for a full year before you can even dream of upgrading to a full licence. During this time, you're expected to keep your wits about you and avoid any shenanigans like speeding or drink driving, or else your red P party ends prematurely with penalties. It's basically a probation period where mistakes are not just frowned upon, they're penalised.
