In Queensland, “green P’s” are the P2 licence, and you typically hold them for 2 years if you’re under 25.
If you’re 25 or over, you usually go straight to P2 and hold them for about 1 year before moving to an open licence.
Get suspended, disqualified, or too points-happy and the timer can pause or even reset—Queensland isn’t keen on interpretive driving.
