how long on red ps wa Page 7

In Western Australia, the infamous 'red P' plate holders might hope for a lenient red light wait, but alas, the law doesn't roll out the red carpet. The standard rule applies: you must stop at a red traffic light until it turns green. There's no special timing for P platers; patience is the name of the game.

The length of the red light varies depending on the intersection and traffic conditions, typically ranging from 30 seconds to over a minute. So, if you're fresh on the roads with your provisional license, don't expect any shortcuts—it's all about safety.
