how many demerit points for p1 vic Page 534

Ah, the thrilling world of Victorian P1 licence demerit points—a topic that can send shivers down the spine of every novice driver in Australia. Under Victorian law, P1 drivers start with zero tolerance for demerit points towards certain offences, but generally, they have a maximum of 4 demerit points before penalties kick in. This means if you rack up 4 points within a 12-month period, you’ll face a licence suspension. It's a tightrope walk, so keep your foot light and your eyes peeled!

For the exact breakdown of offences and points, it’s best to consult VicRoads or ServiceCentral to avoid a costly surprise. Remember, these rules are there to keep you safe, not to ruin your P1 party.
