how much does it cost to get a perm Page 8

In Australia, a basic perm on short hair typically runs about AUD 100–180, mid-length 180–300, and long/thick hair 300–500+; digital or body-wave styles often sit around 350–700.

Add-ons like a cut, toning, bond treatments and extra length can tack on AUD 30–150.

There’s no “used” price—this is a service, not a second-hand spiral—so savings usually come from midweek promos or student salons.

City salons (Sydney/Melbourne) are pricier than regional, and a consultation is wise if your hair’s coloured or fragile.
