how much does it cost to repaint a car australia Page 3

Repainting a car in Australia will set you back anywhere from about $1,500 to $10,000, depending on the quality and extent of the job. A basic respray might live at the cheap end, while a showroom-quality, multi-layer pearl finish will have your wallet screaming. Used cars with minor paint damage can sometimes be refreshed for less, but beware dodgy jobs that crack or peel faster than you can say 'regret'. Always factor in prep work, rust treatment, and possible panel repairs, which can add a few grand. For a decent job, expect around $3,000 to $5,000. For a quick look at prices, you might try checking listings on Tradingpost or CarShowroom to see what freshly painted cars are going for.
