how much does it cost to service a bmw Page 11

Servicing a BMW in Australia isn’t bargain-bin stuff, but it doesn’t have to demand a second mortgage either.

Expect a minor/annual service to land around AUD $400-$700, while a major service can run $900-$1,600 (more for M cars and V8s), with brake pads/rotors per axle often $600-$1,200 and transmission fluid services $700-$1,200.

BMW Service Inclusive packages (5 years/80,000 km) typically cost roughly $1,500-$2,500 for Basic and $3,500-$6,000 for Plus, depending on model and dealer.

Independent Euro specialists can trim the bill by about 20-40%, provided they use OEM-quality parts and follow the service schedule.

City dealers charge more, and logbook items vary with Condition Based Servicing, so always get a written quote for your specific VIN.

Lovely to drive, slightly less lovely on the wallet—plan for it and you’ll be fine.
