In Queensland, you need to be at least 16 to get your car learner licence (Class C).
You can complete the PrepL course and assessment from 15 years and 11 months, then collect your Ls once you’re 16 and pass the eyesight and ID checks.
If you’re under 25, you must log 100 hours of supervised driving (including 10 at night); over 25s skip the logbook but still need a supervisor with an open licence held for at least a year.
Slap on the L-plates, keep your BAC at zero, and try not to drive like you’re auditioning for a dashcam compilation.
