how to clean canvas Page 2

Cleaning canvas is about as thrilling as watching paint dry, but someone's got to do it. First, brush off loose dirt with a dry cloth or soft brush. For stubborn stains, mix mild soap with warm water and gently scrub with a sponge—no need to summon the fire brigade. Avoid harsh chemicals; canvas is tough but not invincible. Rinse with clean water and let it air dry, preferably not in direct Aussie sun unless you want a faded relic. For waterproofed canvas, reapply a waterproof spray after cleaning to keep it shipshape.
