how to get license in queensland Page 4

Getting a driver licence in Queensland is a tidy three‑step caper: learn, prove, and behave. First, snag a learner licence by passing the knowledge test, doing the eyesight check, and sorting your ID, then rack up supervised practice with a proper logbook if it applies to you. Next, complete the hazard perception test when eligible, book the practical test, and try not to white‑knuckle the steering wheel into a pretzel. Pass that, and you’re onto provisional plates with rules like zero BAC and strict phone bans—treat them like gospel unless you enjoy donations to state revenue. Keep it clean through your provisional period and you’ll graduate to an open licence, smug grin optional. Celebrate with a sensible first car—Tradingpost has a paddock full—then practice parking until the neighbours stop watching.
