how to get to springbrook national park Page 1281

From the Gold Coast, take the M1 inland toward Nerang or Mudgeeraba, then follow Springbrook Road up the range; you’ll be in greenery paradise in about 45–70 minutes. From Brisbane, head south on the M1, exit toward Nerang/Mudgeeraba, and keep climbing via Springbrook Road; allow roughly 90–120 minutes depending on traffic and your bravery with hairpins. Roads are narrow, winding, and occasionally closed after heavy rain—check conditions before you set off and skip towing caravans unless you fancy a white-knuckle workout. Pack layers (it’s cooler up top), expect patchy phone reception, and arrive early for parking so you can spend more time gawking at waterfalls than circling for a spot.
