how to sell a truck perth Page 8

Selling a truck in Perth? Give it a proper spruce-up, fix cheap niggles, and assemble service records so buyers don’t scarper at the first squeak.

Price it sensibly using recent WA listings, then list on Tradingpost with sharp photos, clear details on GVM/payload, tow kit, and accessories.

For test drives, sight a valid licence, set the route, and make sure your insurance covers it—because nothing ruins a Saturday like panel beaters and paperwork.

Accept only secure, cleared funds, write a signed receipt, and lodge the ownership transfer promptly via WA DoTDirect.

Remove personal gear, and if you’re not transferring the rego, cancel it with DoT and surrender plates—then celebrate with a chook roll and the smug glow of a job well done.
