how to upgrade from p1 to p2 qld Page 3

So, you're itching to ditch your P plates and graduate to P2 status in Queensland? First off, the minimum learner period is 12 months and you must have held your P1 license for at least 12 months without major incident. Then, you need to pass the Hazard Perception Test (HPT)—a simple computer-based quiz that tests your ability to spot dangers. After that, your P2 license lasts for 2 years before you can aim for a full license. If you want to speed things up, sorry, no shortcuts—Queensland's road rules don’t take kindly to cheaters.

For all the nitty-gritty, check the official Queensland Department of Transport website or have a squiz at ServiceCentral for guidance. And remember, upgrading isn't just about swapping plates; it's about proving you won't turn the roads into your personal demolition derby.
