how to wash car windows Page 18

Washing car windows might seem straightforward, but if you want them crystal clear and streak-free, a bit of know-how helps. Start by rolling the windows down slightly to clean the top edges, which often get neglected. Use a dedicated glass cleaner or a mix of water and vinegar to cut through grime without leaving residue. Avoid ammonia-based cleaners if your car has tinted windows unless the tint manufacturer says otherwise.

Use a microfiber cloth or a lint-free towel to wipe in a circular motion, then finish with vertical strokes for that showroom shine. And don’t forget the inside of the windows—smudges and fingerprints love to lurk there. For stubborn spots like sap or bird droppings, a bit of rubbing alcohol on a cloth can work wonders. Now, get to it before the next rain shows off your streaks!
