hybrid battery replacement price Page 5

Hybrid battery replacement cost in Australia isn’t one-size-fits-all—more like a lucky dip with receipts.

For a new OEM pack, expect roughly AUD $3,000–$8,000+ supplied and fitted, with mainstream hybrids at the lower end and luxury or plug-ins at the pointy end.

A remanufactured/used pack typically lands around AUD $1,500–$4,000, but warranties are shorter and longevity varies like Melbourne weather.

Add $300–$1,000 for labour, programming, and safe handling, and check the fine print on warranty—new packs often get 2–5 years, reman 6–24 months.

If you’re shopping used, ask for balance-of-pack reports and who did the rebuild; a bargain battery that dies early is just an expensive paperweight.
