hydrogen fuel price Page 5

Hydrogen fuel prices in Australia are a bit like unicorns: theoretically fascinating but practically elusive and expensive. Currently, expect to pay anywhere between $10 to $15 per kilogram, which roughly translates to about $8 to $12 per 100 km in a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. New hydrogen cars, such as the Toyota Mirai, start around $70,000 AUD, while used models might be found for less but remain rare. Infrastructure is still in its infancy here, so don't hold your breath for plentiful filling stations. For the latest prices and vehicle listings, check out Tradingpost and CarShowroom. Remember, the hydrogen hype is real, but the wallet sting is too.
