i30 fuel efficiency Page 7

Hunting i30 fuel efficiency? The regular 2.0‑litre petrol hatch typically returns around 7–8 L/100 km on the ADR combined cycle, while the turbo‑petrol N Line can be similar if you keep your right foot civil.

Older 1.6‑litre diesel variants can dip to the mid‑4–5 L/100 km, and the i30 N hot hatch is more like 8–10 L/100 km because fun isn’t free.

Real‑world owners usually see 7–9 L/100 km in mixed driving and 5–6 L/100 km on long highway runs, depending on traffic, tyres, and how optimistic the trip computer is.

Service history, roof racks, and big wheels can nudge those numbers north, so compare your exact spec and driving to get a fair read.
