Looking for the “petrol button” in a Hyundai i30? Here’s the twist: on most recent i30s there isn’t one—unlock the car and press the fuel flap; it pops open.
If it won’t budge, make sure the central locking is unlocked (engine off, press unlock) and try again.
On some older i30 models, there’s a small fuel-door release lever on the driver’s side floor near the seat base.
Still stuck? Check the owner’s manual for your model year; better that than prying at the flap like a hungry seagull.
