i bought a jeep ad Page 6

That catchphrase is from Jeep Australia’s long-running ad campaign built around the triumphant confession: “I bought a Jeep.”

The shtick was simple and effective—ordinary Aussies acting like they’d adopted a pet crocodile, then owning it with a wink.

It turned into a pop-culture earworm, spiking brand awareness and giving dinner-table small talk something new to argue about.

If you’re chasing the specific spot, hunt for the campaign compilations; the tone is cheeky, confident, and very much “treat yourself, you earned it.”
