In Queensland, if a mod isn’t ADR-compliant or signed off under the Queensland Code of Practice (QCOP), it’s basically a no from the ref with the whistle. Usual defect magnets include removing emissions gear (DPF/cat/EGR), excessively loud exhausts, and ride-height changes beyond what QCOP allows without certification. Wheels and tyres poking past guards, super-dark tint, blinding light bars or underbody neons, and steering/brake changes without engineering will also earn you grief. Engine swaps, turbo/supercharger add-ons, and any structural work are fine only when properly engineered and mod-plated—bodge it and expect a tow truck.
