is hyundai i30 fuel efficient Page 3

Short answer: yes, mostly—unless you’ve bought the spicy one and drive like it’s Bathurst. The common 2.0L petrol i30 is rated around 7.3–7.4 L/100 km (ADR combined), while the 1.6T N Line hovers near ~7.1 L/100 km. The i30 N hot hatch is thirstier at roughly 8.5–8.8 L/100 km, and older diesel variants could sip a frugal ~4.7–5.0 L/100 km. In the real world, expect about a litre more if your commute involves traffic, hills, or enthusiasm. So yes, the regular i30s are sensibly frugal, the N is understandably nibbly, and your right foot is the real fuel economy option pack. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
