The 2023 Isuzu MU-X cabin is built for family duty and red-dirt weekends, with a tough, sensible layout that shrugs off crumbs and sand like a seasoned surf lifesaver. You get seven seats, broad-opening doors, and plenty of cubbies, so the daily kid-and-kite circus actually fits. Base trims serve up durable cloth and big, simple controls; higher grades add plusher trim, powered seats and the sort of niceties that make long trips less of a mutiny. The infotainment is straightforward with smartphone mirroring, proper volume knobs, and enough USB points to keep peace in the back rows. Second-row vents and easy-fold seating make life easier; the third row is fine for kids or short hops, less so for lanky adults. ISOFIX points and top-tether anchors are onboard, because small humans deserve big safety.
