Short version: Isuzu wait times in Australia are a moving target, and the target likes to dance.
They swing by model, trim, colour, and postcode, plus factory allocation, shipping, and dealer queue politics. Ring multiple dealers and ask for pipeline stock with an ETA, not just “order time”; cancellations and demo-to-retail conversions pop up more often than you’d think. Be flexible on colour and options and you can shave weeks; insist on the unicorn spec and you’ll be making friends with the calendar. Accessories fitted pre-delivery can add delay, so check what’s done at the dealer versus post-sale.
If patience isn’t your hobby, sniff around nearly-new and used listings on Tradingpost—keys now, smug grin sooner. Always get the ETA in writing, and confirm price protection just in case the calendar outlasts your enthusiasm.
