itech 120ah lithium battery review Page 32

Eyeing the iTechworld 120Ah lithium for your van or 4x4? It’s a LiFePO4 deep‑cycle unit that’s far lighter than an equivalent AGM, keeps a nice flat voltage curve, and will run fridges, lights and a modest inverter without throwing a tantrum.

Pros: quick charging, usable capacity close to its headline figure, and an internal BMS to keep the cells behaving. Cons: needs a lithium‑compatible charger, cold temps can limit charging, and you must respect the BMS current limits if you’re feeding a chunky inverter.

Owners generally rate it as good value if you nab a sale, with new pricing often around AUD 600–1,000 and used units popping up cheaper. If you want a fit‑and‑forget touring battery, it’s a solid bet—just match your charge profile and wiring before you hit the road.
