jeep cherokee towing capacity australia Page 7

In Australia, the Jeep Cherokee (KL, 2014–2022) is rated to tow up to 2,200 kg braked and 750 kg unbraked when properly equipped with the factory tow package. Most V6 Trailhawk and Limited variants share the same max braked figure; the key variables are payload, accessories, and the specified towbar kit. Towball download and GCM/kerb weight limits vary by trim and options, so always cross-check the VIN plate and your owner’s manual. Use a quality brake controller and a weight-distribution setup if required, and mind your tyre load ratings—Jeep maths can get spicy fast. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
