jolion lux review Page 3

The Haval Jolion Lux is the middle child that turned up early, nicked the features list, and left the price tag looking sheepish.

Its 1.5‑litre turbo makes 110 kW and 220 Nm through a 7‑speed dual‑clutch to the front wheels; zippy enough for the ‘burbs, a bit flustered if you rush the gearbox from a standstill.

Cabin space is generous, kit is strong for the money (AEB, lane assist, adaptive cruise), and the ride is tuned for comfort rather than corner-carving glory.

Infotainment looks flash but the menu logic can be fiddly, and fuel use in the real world tends to sit higher than the brochure if you’re heavy‑footed.

Value remains the hook: new examples typically land in the high‑$20Ks drive‑away in Australia, with recent used cars hovering in the low‑to‑mid $20Ks.
