kia cerato battery type Page 7

The Kia Cerato typically uses a 12-volt lead-acid battery, with common sizes including Group 48 (H6) or Group 35, depending on the model year and engine variant. These batteries generally have a capacity around 60-70 Ah and a cold cranking amp (CCA) rating suitable for Australian conditions. Always check your owner’s manual or consult a local dealer to confirm the exact specification for your Cerato, as fitting the wrong battery can lead to all sorts of electrical gremlins. For replacements, prices range from about $150 to $300 AUD new, while used options might be found on Tradingpost or CarShowroom at lower prices. Remember, a dodgy battery can turn your sleek Cerato into a glorified paperweight faster than you can say 'jump start'.
