kia cheapest new car Page 2

If you’re hunting for Kia’s cheapest new car in Australia, you’re looking at the Kia Picanto.

New pricing typically sits around AUD 19,000–23,000 drive-away depending on trim and state charges, which is about as wallet-friendly as new-car smell gets.

On the used market, older/high‑km Picantos can start near AUD 8,000–12,000, while near-new examples tend to run AUD 16,000–22,000 depending on spec and condition.

It’s a city-sized runabout with tidy manners, cheap servicing, and fuel use in the mid‑5s L/100km if you behave; the boot is small, but so is the fuel bill.

Keep an eye on Tradingpost for used deals if you’d rather let someone else take the first-owner sting.
