Kia EV6 vs Hyundai Ioniq 6 is SUV-ish crossover versus swoopy sedan: same E-GMP bones, very different wardrobes.

Both offer RWD or AWD, 800V charging up to ~240 kW DC, and long-range batteries around 77 kWh, so road trips don’t feel like a science experiment.

Kia EV6 — Pros: roomy cabin and boot (~490 L), taller ride and visibility, lively handling, and an absurdly quick GT (about 3.5 s 0–100 km/h); Cons: not as aero-efficient so uses a bit more at highway speeds, and top trims can be pricey.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 — Pros: superb efficiency and range (RWD up to ~614 km WLTP), very hushed ride, tidy ergonomics; Cons: sloping roof and small boot opening curb practicality, and no EV6 GT-style rocket booster.

Tech is near-parity: V2L, big twin screens, heaps of safety kit, and infotainment that’s better than the coffee at most servos.

Pick by lifestyle, not lap time: if you need space and versatility, the EV6 suits; if you crave aero serenity and max range, the Ioniq 6 will whisper along nicely.
