kia prices 2023 Page 9

Short version: in 2023, Kia prices in Australia stretched from “cheap as a cheeky Friday takeaway” to “EV spaceship money.”

New, you were looking at roughly AUD 20k–35k for the Picanto/Rio/Cerato end, AUD 30k–60k for SUVs like Seltos/Sportage/Sorento/Carnival, and up to about AUD 72k–100k+ for EV6 variants (GT at the pointy end). Used, older petrol Kias could be had from around AUD 5k–15k, mainstream 2018–2021 hatch/SUVs sat about AUD 20k–45k, and near‑new EV6s typically landed in the AUD 60k–90k band. On‑road costs and dealer delivery sprinkle extra dollars on top, and state EV incentives can nudge numbers down. If that sounds like a spread worthy of a buffet, that’s because it is—so browse listings (Tradingpost is a tidy start) and bring a calculator.
