kia rio vs stonic Page 5

City car versus pint-sized SUV—same family DNA, different shoes.

• Rio — Pros: cheaper to buy and run, lighter, tidier handling; Cons: less ground clearance, smaller boot, discontinued new in Australia.
• Stonic — Pros: higher driving position, extra practicality, more modern cabin tech; Cons: a touch thirstier and pricier, ride can be firmer on larger wheels.

Both share modest engines and easy manners; the Rio suits tight budgets and urban zipping, while the Stonic adds versatility for weekend errands and speed bumps.

Choose based on space and seating height, not bragging rights—no one’s setting lap records here.
