kia seltos vs mg zst Page 157

Both are small SUVs with budget-friendly badges, but they play different tunes: the Kia Seltos feels sorted and sensible, the MG ZST goes heavy on features-for-dollars.

Kia Seltos

• Pros: Roomy cabin and boot, tidy ride/handling, broad safety tech, long warranty, and strong resale in Australia.
• Cons: Pricier than the MG, base 2.0 CVT is just adequate, and turbo models can be a touch thirstier and noisier when pushed.

MG ZST

• Pros: Sharp drive-away pricing, generous equipment lists, easy infotainment, and low running costs on paper.
• Cons: Refinement and ride quality trail the best, cabin materials can feel budget, and resale values aren’t as bulletproof.

Short version: Seltos for polish and space; ZST for kit-per-dollar—have a browse on Tradingpost if your wallet’s doing the decision-making.
